Corporate Law encompasses not only the Companies Act but several other legislation dealing with Regulatory Authorities like SEBI, Enforcement Directorate under FEMA, Competition Commission of India, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and other specific sectoral regulators.

It is in this context that a publication which should deal with the legislative developments and judicial pronouncements becomes a significant tool, particularly for the professionals to understand the fast-changing developments particularly so since most of these laws are in an evolutionary stage.

The student initiators of the Corporate Law Journal deserve full credit for bringing out this Journal which would in the forthcoming issues deal with important aspects of the corporate law and the evolving jurisprudence in this regard. It is a brilliant initiative which needs to be encouraged and promoted.

I wish the young initiators all success in this good cause.

Shubham Jain and his young colleagues have undertaken an admirable and innovative knowledge venture viz., the publication of the Corporate Law Journal. Obviously, for this, they have made strenuous efforts.  Undoubtedly, this will be helpful to a large number of professionals.

On the significant occasion of the first issue of the Corporate Law Journal, I congratulate the young team and with this effort as the great success.

It is heartening to see that the young minds are engaging themselves in interactive learning models. Schools, Colleges, Text Books, Library resources and reading varied articles from different sources is surely a constant repository of knowledge and if it gets coupled with life experiences of experts dealing in such subjects, it makes it a full round.

This whole exercise of bringing out a Corporate Law Journal could have been offloaded to any specialized agency for the purpose. If the recipient of knowledge, if the knowledge seeker himself is in its journey to search for it and reach a particular destination and goal set for himself, nothing can be better that this. All this takes courage and unstinted dedication. It needs high perseverance which has become a rare quality.

I am very happy that the students have come together and have displayed their innate qualities and have made their dream a ‘Reality’!

Many Congratulations and keep up the good work! The kind of learnings that you will get from this exercise is both tangible and non-tangible. Be incessant with your mandate and never give up! The person who is rock solid with their self-inflicted pains goes a long way!

Warm Wishes to all team members of Corporate Law Journal.

Thank you very much for inviting me to be the Member of the Advisory Board of Corporate Law Journal (CLJ) a biannual journal. I appreciate the efforts of whole CLJ team in taking out this journal for serving society with current developments and judgments. I am confident the journal will be of immense help to the students and the researchers.

I am indeed glad to learn that inaugural issue of Corporate Law Journal is being released. It is a matter of great satisfaction that your efforts are bearing fruit. Please accept my compliments and congratulations on this occasion.

During last few years the Corporate Laws in the country are changing at fast pace. One may not be wrong to say that at times even professionals are finding it difficult to keep pace with such changes. Companies Act 2013, Goods and Services Tax Act, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, Real Estate Regulations, Benjamin Transactions Law are some of such examples.

At this juncture, there is an urgent need of a good Journal, which covers significant aspects of such laws and changes therein, in a simple but effective manner. We need a Journal which meets the needs of business community and professionals alike all over the country.

I sincerely hope that the Corporate Law Journal shall meet the expectations of all and shall be made a great contribution in understanding the laws and consequent effective implementation thereof. Let us all strive for making the society more law compliant and a better place to live in.
